To develop and promote public health a project to provide radiology equipment was offered specifically digital x-ray detectors for the hospital ships the africa mercy and global mercy and patient transport stretchers for the africa mercy. A project to provide equipment specifically a dental hospitainer for the africa mercy hospital ship was also offered. A pharmacy clinical coordinator supported the africa mercy and the global mercy hospital ships. A senior director of education training and advocacy supported the africa mercy and the global mercy hosptial ships. There were 21 longer term crew and their 8 children and 57 shorter term crew volunteers donate their skills and time to support our mission in 2024 on our hospital ships. To develop and promote public health we offered a new project to provide biomedical and imaging test equipment for the hospital ships the africa mercy and global mercy. A new project to provide equipment specifically medical equipment for the africa mercy hospital ship was offered this year. This involved equipment such as four (4) operating room surgical tables one (1) operating room surgical light and one (1) video laryngoscope for the africa mercy as part of the ship's upgrade. In 2024 a new vehicle project was offered that provided vehicles to support the work of the country engagement team and mercy ships international personnel in madagascar.
