Mandate: mentoring artists for women's art encourages and supports the intellectual and creative development for women and 2-spirit women-identifying non-binary and trans people in the visual arts by providing an ongoing forum or education and critical dialogue. Core programming: foundation mentorship program mentorship showcases artist bootcamps rural and remote mentorship programs focused mentorships skills workshops mentorship workshop first friday lecture series local artist lectures wendy wersch memorial lecture critical discussion groups panel discussions symposia performances field trips screening of artists videos members tiny gallery showcase visiting artists/curators lectures and co-presented events master classes artist-in-residence mothers group beading group young feminist art intensives studio visits cross cultural craft and artisan outreach program figure drawing indigenous art nights members showcases critical feedback sessions.
