Meldrum Bay Historical Society

The Meldrum Bay Historical Society has been in existence since 1965. After a 4 year break due to COVID the Netshed Museum reopened in 2024 to welcome visitors to the village of Meldrum Bay on Manitoulin Island to learn about the history of the village and Dawson township through exploring the artifacts in the museum. The Museum opened for 8 weeks in June- August 6 days/week. The museum has displays of artifacts depicting the history of the activities of the township such as fishing lumbering and farming. There are displays of tools farming equipment household items photographs and other memorabilia. No new programs in 2024
