Medical Physics for World Benefit Canada

To promote health in developing countries by providing personnel knowledgeable about medical physics to instuct develop and participate in training programs and to take part in exchanges of staff and students; designing and acquiring medical-physics related technologies and their facilities; developing and reviewing quality assurance and control programs and safety-related activities in the field of medical physics; recruiting medical physicists to participate in activities in furtherance of the above purposes. Conducted a series of webinars on topics of interest to medical physicists in low an dmiddle income countries. Worked with meru university in kenya towards establishing a medical physics master's program. Provided advice and virtual assistance to a cancer centre in ethiopia to commission a new linear accelerator for patient treatment.
