Meals on Wheels Thorold - St Catharines

We provide home delivery of hot and frozen meals to eligible recipients(seniors persons with physical challenges cognitive impariment active or chronic illness and those who are convalescing or recieving palliative care. Serivce is provided by 187 volunteers who deliver over 150 hot meals daily and over 425 frozen meals weekly monday to friday between 11am and 1pm. Due to covid restrictions we were required to suspend congregate dining programs. As a result of no congregate dining our volunteers have moved to contacting clients by phone for wellness checks and socialization.
