The mission of mcdermott house of canada is to promote the highest quality of life for veterans military first responders and community patients facing the final stages of a terminal illness. Our first project was to create an innovative and warm home-like environment for canada veterans military first responders and community patients in the palliative care unit at sunnybrook veterans centre in toronto. This project has since ended and no new projects have been finalized.
