Markham Winds

Offer music classes and instructional seminars to the general public through our 2 ensembles (Markham Winds Markham Young Winds) on a weekly basis - Provide high-quality artistic performances in public places senior citizens' homes churches community centres and educational institutions - Produce public concerts presentations and performance art(s) events and by providing a forum for qualified artists to exhibit present or perform their artistic works through participation in such events Hosted the 'Markham Winds Elementary Band Festival' which gave the opportunity for 30+ elementary schools in the Greater Toronto Area (GTA) to perform in front of celebrated educators / composers and receive an educational clinic and feedback.
