In 2024 MWMFF continues to promote focus on early learning expansion as aligned to and an extension of public education. It is also continuing to monitor and document the implementation of Canada-Wide Early Learning and Child Care agreements across provinces and territories and the upcoming federal legislation. The Foundation has initiated a new program 'Atlantic Region ECE Initiative' that is promoting early childhood education as an extension of public education across Atlantic Canada. The initial focus will be on Nova Scotia’s Pre-primary Program and will promote four-year old programs in schools across the Atlantic region as an extension of public education.
