Maranatha Christian Reformed Church

We are a main-line christian church part of the christian reformed denomination. We support the greater christian reformed church's various relief and outreach efforts with funds and volunteers. Our congregation's main programs consist of the preaching and teaching of the holy bible and its message to us and the world at large. We hold weekly worship services on sundays and various teaching programs throughtout the week for members children and neighbourhood participants. These include gems for girls cadets for boys youth group for teenagers and a variety of small groups of adults who get together to study the bible and grow in community. We support our local community by bring a pickup site for our neighbourhood foodbank and are a site for cvitp tax preparation. We also collect and distribute funds for varioous causes that members wish to donate to. We have sponsored several groups of refugees from burma and aid them in building a new life here in edmonton. Several of them are active participants in our congregation.
