The society responds to the needs of the homeless and the impoverished in the oceanside british columbia community by distributing free food emergency shelter (tents) and camping gear. We will meet people on their own turf since most lack transportation and live out of town. We operate 24/7. Our vehicle is set up every saturday morning to distribute food clothing and survival gear to those needing help. We work cooperatively with other societies and organizations to help the unfortunate in our community. An outreach program to the homeless that offers counselling and help in getting them into the programs available in the area. This is supported by a van that is used as a warm dry space for the homeless to meet in with the counsellor. We provide some basic first aid and foot care related supplies and support and assistance in contacting community health professionals.
