Malaspina Land Conservancy Society

We continue to operate as a land trust to conserve land with agricultural scenic historical cultural natural and compatible recreational value. We conduct reserach education and hold 2 conservation covenants over private property. We monitor a 250-acre civebabt on texada island for the land conservancy (tlc). For a fifth year we increased the coastal douglas fir and western red cedar population in our region to honour a board member who died in 2019. We also continue to raise and hold funds for a property we wish to acquire for community enjoyment and preservation as per our written agreement under the income tax act which expires 2027-08-31.
