Maison des Marins de Montréal / Mariners House of Montreal

Mariners' house of montreal aids and assists seafarers temporarily in the city of montreal and surrounding vicinity to provide a place of repose for such seafarers and to provide for their practical moral and social welfare. Our facilties are also available to retired and veteran seamen. We provide free transportation to and from ships and offer a place on the montreal waterfront for seafarers' leisure time including recreational facilities (free wi-fi t.v. Books and magazines pool ping-pong and baby foot tables free coffee). The centre sells refreshments toiletries and souvenirs. We also offer currency exchange and money transfer services to families all over the world. Many items such as clothes food jigsaw puzzle and books are donated to us which we in turn donate to the seafarers. Upon request we put seamen in contact with union representatives medical practitioners or ministers of various religious denominations and we have a chapel on the premises if services are requested.
