The purpose of the marta organization is to provide a $1000 scholarship annually to a deserving high school graduate who will follow post-secondary studies. The school selects the recipient. We also make a donation to the miramichi community food bank. We organize social & wellness events for retired teachers. In 2024 we awarded 5 bursaries of $300 to each local high school.
