This education leads to the following degrees and certificates: doctor of ministry for those already ordained for ministry; master of divinity equips persons to be ordained for ministry; master of theological studies for study of pastoral ministry without leading to ordination; master of theology for graduate study of christian doctrine theology church history church writings and teachings; diaconal ministry certificate prepares deacons; certificate in lutheran leadership is to equip leaders in the church.
