The purpose of the english district of the lutheran church-missouri synod is be to bring the gospel of jesus christ to all people of canada for the expansion of his kingdom of grace by: 1. Facilitating the mission of the english district of the lutheran church-missouri synod especially by promoting mission policy in canada in consultation with our canadian congregations and the english district of the lutheran church-missouri synod. 2. Cooperating with those churches who are in fellowship in order to maximize our attempts to reach the lost the unchurched and the dechurched. 3. Administering the canadian church extension fund whose mission is to provide opportunity to make funds and services available in support of the great commission.
