Our general role is to improve respiratory health through programs education research training treatment and prevention of lung disease and promotion of a healthy environment and healthy lifestyles. 2.We promote tobacco use reduction cessation and prevention through advocacy cessation assistance and education. 3. We provide respiratory and educational courses for professionals across Canada 4. We train and re-certify health care professionals for overnight oximetry service 5. We provide a help-line service for people with chronic lung disease and questions regarding lung health. 6. We provide patient information in regards to lung disease and lung health.
