To advance the public's appreciation of the arts and to promote excellence in the documentary filmmaking industry by providing a documentary film festival showcasing high-quality documentary films to the public. To advance education by providing workshops seminars and panels on documentary filmmaking and related topics. To advance education by providing publicly available busaries to deserving youth which are to be used in post-secondary education in televison or filmmaking.
