Lotus Outreach provides non-formal education staple food supply and medical care to under privileged children and their families. 1. GATE - Girls Access to Education - Primary to High School graduation. 2. CATALYST - Provides GATE graduates with scholarships at post- secondary level. 3. STREAM - Skills training employment and education matching. 4. CTC (CWCC) - consoling Through Counseling - Cambodian Women's Crisis Centre. 5. GEI - Girls Education Initiative - Scholarships to girls entering grade 7. 6. COCD - Cambodian Organization for Children and Development. LOSC will develop and contribute funds towards projects programs and activities that will be carried out in partnershiop with LOCAM to further its general charitable purpose. Description of Activities: LOSC has formed a partnership with LOCAM in supporting its operational costs so that it can implement three substantial projects: CATALYST with 77 scholars; LOTUS PEDALS providing some 300 - 400 bicycles annually across Cambodia and RICE FOR EDUCATION providing some 50 000 kgs of rice annually and provided to poor families so they can keep their girls in school. LOSC will also continue to develop a fourth development plank Lotus Outreach's Water in Schools (WINS) project launched in 2019 and that will continue to grow in 2023 after two years of interruption due to Covid epidemic.
