Literacy South Halton

In the past 43 years literacy south halton has helped adults improve the literacy and numeracy skill they need to succeed at home at work and in the community. Today 48% of adult canadians have literacy skills that fall below a high school level which negatively affects their ability to function with consequences for both the economy and democracy. Our 'complimentary' programs continue to offer assistance with business communication skills 'introduction to computers' and tutor workshops. Theses programs assist our learners with the abilities: to shop for the best food prices read a prescription label complete an online job application or apply for driver’s license.
