Literacy link south central (llsc) exists to create and foster support and awareness for a quality well resourced infrastructure for literate community. To this end llsc works to ensure: - a well-coordinated well informed literacy delivery system - local recognition of the impact of low literacy on building health communities and community capacity - practioners have the resources they need to provide high quality programming. - a diverse literacy community exists in llsc's networking area - government and decision-makers have access to good and relevant information about adult literacy its impact and its needs - increased access to information so that people can make informed choices
