The purposes of the foundation are as follows: (a) to operate exclusively as a charitable organization to administer and employ its property assets and rights for the sole purposes of providing funding to organizations or programs that focus on relieving poverty advancing education promoting health lessening isolation and loneliness and improving the quality of life of the elderly population in montreal and surrounding areas; and (b) to furnish funds for the care treatment and support of any such persons to any charitable organization that is a qualified donee as described in subsection 149.1(1) of the income tax act (canada).
