Providing public library services to the residents of the district of lillooet squamish lillooet regional district (slrd) areas a and b and the six northern st'at'imc communities tit'q'et tsal'alh sekw'el'was xwisten xaxli'p and ts'k'way'laxw. Three banches offer access to internet library materials and programming to support work culture learning and enjoyment. Adult literacy outreach program offering english as an additional language service and tutoring in basic writing math and digital literacy. Children's outreach program offering story-time and early literacy activities in libraries and to northern st'at'imc communities. Digital programs and resources are available to all card holders to access from home 2024 lala charity return new initiatives key accomplishments in 2024 include: achieving a full staff team new programs for children and families have been created and our social media is more active and engaging; working with the lillooet chamber of commerce we helped organize an all candidates meeting for the provincial election; sea to sky newcomer services expanded to lillooet and hosted a well-attended open house at our library they're working with the community in the region; completing renovations at the two outlying branches at gold bridge and bridge river these spaces feel much more welcoming and pleasant.
