Lethbridge and Area Metis Association

Some ongoing Metis cultural programs include holiday food hampers a year end cultural party high school and post secondary graduations events for National Indigenous Peoples Day National Day for Truth and Reconciliation Lethbridge Whoop Up Day parade Metis Week (Louis Riel Day) and other events throughout the year. Some of our new programs include workshops traditional beading fiddling jigging finger weaving Michif language classes ribbon skirt making and more. We work to provide cultural connections for Metis people in Lethbridge and surrounding areas. Lethbridge And Area Metis Association continues to work with community partnering organizations to strengthen partnerships and encourage understanding between non indigenous and indigenous communities.
