About Legion Veterans Village Research Foundation
The legion veterans research foundation ha developed a personalized therapeutics program for veterans leveraging mulitidisciplinary services to enhance the effects of multi-modal therapies on brain fog and long covid symptoms. Vetereans can access treatments through low moderate or high severity pathways which are tailored based on progress and emerging clinical needs. The low severity pathway includes group education and support digital tools and guidance from a health navigator and peer support person. The moderate severity pathway involves enhanced primary care assessments neurocatch brain scans and both group and one-on-one behavioural support services. The high severity pathway offers comprehensive care from a multidisciplinary team including primary care psychiatry neuropsychology and pain management specialists as well as allied health provides such as physical therapists occupational therapists and registered psychologists. The program aims to improve veterans' mental health reduce street and enhance motivation. 77 participants have either completed or were enrolled in the program in 2024 with two additional cohorts to begin in 2025.
