We provide the following services to the public which are delivered by legally trained counsellors: .legal information line: telephone support is provided toll-free every day of the week with no time limit on calls – bilingual service is available; .livechat; .lawyer referral service: legal information counsellors can triage a caller to a lawyer who will provide a half hour of legal advice for a $20 fee) – a key benefit of this service is that the legal information counsellors screen calls to determine those which warrant a referral – our statistics indicate that over 80% of calls are able to be assisted by legal information without the need for a lawyer referral; .mediator referral service: partnership with law firms offering pro bono services .
