Lawyers' Rights Watch (legal Research) Canada

Legal research: lrw(lr)c conducts and provides to the public legal research about international human rights law (ihrl). 2018 work included publication of research about ihrl rights to: consular protection and diplomatic intervention protective measures in the inter-american system legal aid in british columbia and to engage in human rights advocacy. Lrw(lr)c also produced statements and briefs on a wide range of ihrl issues in many countries including statements for the united national human rights council. Public education: lrw(lr)c provided free public education about ihrl online through email and by mail distribution of written communications briefs and publications and hosted co-hosted and contributed to free public education events in vancouver ottawa toronto and montreal. Lrw(lr)c continues to work in cooperation with other human rights organizations to produce research and provide education about ihrl the rule of law the integrity of legal systems and advocacy rights.
