• Ancient Murrelet Monitoring by remote camera gathering ground counts (at sea) and land based night-time point counts (April 12 - June 20; 2 staff 2 volunteers @ 54 hours) • Regular Field Season tasks (including Cassin's Aucklet monitoring Pigeon Guillemot nest-box monitoring Black Oystercatcher surveys within Laskeek Bay Wildlife tree monitoring Sapwell monitoring deer monitoring vegetation monitoring invasive plant monitoring rare plant monitoring blowdown regeneration monitoring at sea surveys near shore surveys cetacean sighting marine mammal counts gathering ground counts raptor and corvid nest monitoring marine debris removal data management. (2 staff @ 800 hours plus 2 volunteers @ 65 days) • Board of Directors (8 directors @ 300 hours/year) • Scientific Committee (5 advisors @ 120 hours/year) Deer Survey (Fall) (1 staff @ 5 days = 40 hours) (2 volunteers @ 5 days = 85 hours ) Total = 125 • Raccoon Surveys (1 contractor @ 5 days=40 hours) (5 volunteers @ 5 days = hours) Total = 100 • 2024 Data Management Contract (150 hours contract work) • Online outreach (1 staff @ 2 hours a week x 50 weeks = 100 hours) • 2024 Youth Outreach Worker (YOW) (1 staff biologist/mentor @ 30 hours 1 youth outreach worker @ 220 hours 1 staff assistant @ 30 hours) YOW conducted school outreach in all Haida Gwaii communities and ran an after-school bird club for students Grades 4 – 7 Sept-Nov. at the Haida Gwaii Museum.
