Spring tea bake sale and raffle. Ongoing memorial and general donations received funeral luncheons. Monies collected are used to purchase equipment for the lakeshore general hospital acute dialysis personal care home doctor's clinics and long term care withing the community here is currently an addition being added to the hospital which will be the new acute department with 26 single rooms as well as an upgraded palliatiave care room. Expected completion/opening is february 2025 ( extended from may 2024). We are currently waiting on a list of items needed to fill the rooms that aren't covered by capital cost. $20 000.00 has also been earmarked for use towards murals/decor in the halls/rooms. There will also be renovations starting in the emergency area once the new acute is open and further monies will be used there once it is known what items may be needed.
