Lakeshore Family Resource Centre Inc.

The purpose of the Organization is to assist families in the North West Interlake area by implementing change towards personal growth increased independence and empowerment. The Centre also provides counselling services to individuals and families in need and works towards prevention of family violence. The organization is a department agency of the Province of Manitoba acting on the above mandate. The organization operates a thrift store and is active with various community initiatives. The organization provides a Food Bank supporting vulnerable populations. The organization provides space for Community Garden plots addressing Food Insecurity. The organization facilitates Alcoholics Anonymous meetings on bi-weekly basis.
