Lake Windermere Ambassadors Society

The lake windermere ambassadors society continued programs which focused on the protection of lake windermere and its watershed through community monitory public education on the health of the lake and watershed opportunities for stewardship shoreline clean-ups dissemination of science-based research as well as delivery of free and educational; kids camps workshops and presentations. Our programs in this fiscal year were a continuation or expansions of ongoing programs for example the ambassadors were able to offer a green shores for homes training workshop to members of the community as well as begin to study recreational impacts on lake wildermerer through utilizing yearly monitoring data and expanding data collection. Offered green shores for homes level 1 training workshop and began recreation impact study on lake windermere.
