Ladysmith Health Care Auxiliary

The charity's mission is to raise and donate money for equipment to be used in health care facilities to promote community health wellness and education accessed by ladysmith and are resdients to provide programs services and goods to support local health and wellness and to maintain the doris gallagher memorial gardens. Charitable programs include providing meals on wheels providing lifeline monitoring service for local citizens who need this service but cannot afford to pay for it themselves and providing for theupkeep of the memorial gardens at the ladysmith community health centre. The charity provides grants to local hospital foundations and many other health and wellness-related charities. Including bc cancer foundation ladysmith resources centre association. Ladysmith family and friends society and cowichan hospice society in 2024 335 volunteers donated 54 330 hours to operate the thrift store and provide charitable program services
