Lady Fatimah Foundation

Throughout the fiscal year the Lady Fatimah Foundation served the Shia Muslim community in Halton Region Ontario through faith-based charitable initiatives that addressed religious social and cultural needs. Key programs included: •     Religious Observances: Weekly congregational prayers monthly gatherings and large-scale commemorations of Islamic events such as Ramadan and Muharram—all volunteer-led and community-funded. •     Islamic Education: A Sunday School for children and youth (ages 5–18) offering Quranic studies spiritual development and cultural awareness to nurture faith and identity. •     Community Building: Inclusive programs promoting volunteerism family engagement and senior participation to reduce social isolation and strengthen communal bonds.
