Lacombe and District Music Festival Association

We stage an annual music festival in march/april of each year for almost 300 participates. Cash awards around $6000 .00 are presented to qualified participates who receive high grades from the professional adjudicators. Recommended participates go on to provincials put on by the alberta music festival assoc. Musicians/dancers compete in different disciplines piano strings orchestra speech band instrumental vocal musical theatre dance and guitar. There are 14 volunteer committee members who plan this event along with the help of 40+ volunteers to stage this event. Well over 1000 hours of volunteers work go into staging the festival.
