We rescue stray abandoned & abused animals and provide health services: vaccinate/spay or neuter/any necessary surgeries and find new loving homes. TNR Program (Trap/Neuter/Return): arranging the trap/spay or neuter of feral cats that are a problem in some areas to reduce the unwanted feline population while at the same time curtailing nuisance behaviors. Adoption Program: we offer our suitable & rehabilitated rescues for adoption to provide excellent permanent homes. All rescues are vaccinated de-wormed spayed/neutered when of appropriate age. Foster Program: we recruit foster homes for the animals in need until they can be placed in a loving home. Reading to Rescues: We are encouraging elementary school students to read to our shelter cats at this time. We have a selection of age appropriate books available. Work Experience Students: We are working with our local high school to provide students who are interested in cats and dogs plus learning some organizational skills.
