La Résidence Fulford / Fulford Residence

Effective January 1 2022 Fulford Residence ceased operations as a senior residence for women (see Note 1 to the Financial Statements). Subsequently Fulford Residence initiated in March 2022 a private tender process for the sale of its property at 1221 Guy Street Montreal Quebec. In such context acquisition offers were solicited from charitable organizations and private developers among others. Following a comprehensive review of proposals considering social community and architectural aspects Fulford Residence selected in September 2023La Fondation du refuge pour femmes chez Doris Inc. as the purchaser with the sale closing on May 8 2024. Fulford Residence intends to donate the proceeds of the sale to charitable organizations aligned with its mission with beneficiary selection pending finalization.
