Kuu-Us Crisis Line Society

Kuu-us crisis line society purposes: a) to provide 24 hour telephone crisis intervention and counselling (listening) service. B) to relieve poverty by assisting individuals in need to obtain temporary emergency shelter. C) to relieve poverty by assisting individuals in need to obtain safe independent affordable housing. D) to relieve poverty by providing individuals in need with life-skills training on such topics as employment seeking services the qualifications process for income assistance or disability to obtain income security financial budgeting and shopping on a limited budget etc. E) to relieve poverty by providing transitional housing and supportive housing to individuals of first nation metis or inuit ancestry who are living or wish to live a sober life and/or recovering from addiction.
