Kurumbuka Leadership Solutions Foundation

1. Operate leadership development programs for executive and emerging leaders issuing post-secondary certificates and offering graduate level programs to african leaders in partnership with accredited canadian universities and colleges. 2. Provide publicly available scholarships and bursaries for african leaders from disadvantaged backgrounds or underprivileged groups to be used for post- secondary education. 3. Receiving and maintaining a fund or funds and to apply all or part of the principle or income therefrom from time to time to qualified donees as described in subsection 149.1(1) of the income tax act (canada). 4. Developing and conducting educational mentorship programs between canadian leadership experts and their african counterparts. 5. Utilize a learning management system and other online platforms to increase program accessibility provide leadership resources. Expand our network and enhance the learner experience. 1. Kurumbuka supported 50 leaders from 16 countries to train 1700 additional leaders through its multiplication program. 2. Kurumbuka partnered with trinity western to help graduates transfer to their masters in leadership program. 3. Kurumbuka established connectivity hubs for its alumni network in goma drc and bujumbura burundi. 4. Kurumbuka trained an additonal 4000 young people through a partnership with youth impact mission. 5. Begin a masterplanning process for developing a new kurumbuka leadership hub.
