Services to job seekers including employment counseling job-seeker resource centre assessments funds for skills training small business development programming wage subsidies group employability and life-skills training work placement and community work projects. Some programs are delivered regionally (east and west kootenay). Intensified services for persons will special needs (i.e. Disability). 2. Community development that sees us engaging various stakeholder groups to establish new or bolster existing community development initiatives especially in areas that positively affect the economy and labour market. 3. Community resources: resource directory (print and web) on-line business and community directory kes website. 4. Job search and placement services for injured workers referred by worksafe bc. 5. Labour market development services including liaison with local stakeholders participation on local and regional labour market initiatives and services to employers such as job placements.
