Kootenay Columbia Trails Society

Establish and maintain a recreational trail network in and around the municipalities of Rossland Trail Warfield Montrose and Fruitvale in British Columbia for self-propelled activities including walking hiking trail running biking and equestrian. The Society is governed by a dedicated volunteer board while operations are carried out by an experienced professional trails manager and crew. Volunteer initiatives throughout the season serve to accelerate the Trails Society's trail building efforts. These trails serve as a popular recreational amenity for local residents. Maintained the trail network within the Lower Columbia Region. Capital upgrades were made to cedar trail with substantial improvements to drainage and many culverts added to the trail to improve user experience.
