Kootenay Boundary Regional Hospital and Health Foundation Society

The Foundation an independent chartable society raises gifts and annual funds to support healthcare equipment needs staff education patient care and comfort and special initiatives to enhance the healthcare of the Kootenay Boundary residents through KBRH and its associated facilities including Columbia View Lodge Poplar Ridge Pavilion and Community Health) During the 2023-2024 fiscal year the Foundation's major campaign and fundraising focus included: the $750 000 Orthopedic Enhancement Project which will purchase state of the art medical equipment to be used by the orthopedic surgeons at KBRH; the $700 000 Tier 3 Neonatal Intensive Care Unit Project which will purchase medical equipment to elevate care for premature babies at KBRH; and the Columbia View Lodge Garden of Gratitude Project with a $200 000 goal which will renovate the 3 gardens at this residential care facility to ensure maximal and safe usage for all residents their families and staff wo care for the residents.
