Kohan Reflection Garden Society

The society maintains and develops the kohan reflection garden a no-entrance-fee park in the village of new denver. The society has a continued relationship with the nikkei interment memorial centre. There is co-ordinated maintenance of the garden with approximately 80 volunteers and in-kind support from the village. Hosted one wedding and three performances of shakespeare by the shore. The lucerne elementary and senior secondary school graduates again used the garden for their class photos. Due to numerous wildfires surroudning the community later in the season the society and local users of the garden were compelled to cancel a number of activities and cultural events. There was infrastructure repairs to the irrigation system and entrance gate building.
