Kvrc continues to provide educational workshops/webinars to nova scotians who are interested in forming not for profit organizations or learning skills information about operating not for profits effectively and successfully serve their clients/areas well. We also hold an annual one day volunteer leadership symposium in may of each year which we did in may 2023. We also are the host organization for the ns provinical online volunteer recruiting and matching website 'volunteer nova scotia' we also provide personal assistance to both newcomers and existing residents of the annapolis valley by our staff in our office at county fair mall new minas ns on volunteer opportunities etc in our area/region. Our primary new program/project this past fiscal year and ongoing during the present year is a completed redesigning/upgrading of of the volunteer ns website funded by the province of ns to reflect new ideas around attracting volunteers of all ages and also reflect cultural etc changes of nova scotia as well. This project is a 2-3 year project which involve technical and design changes by web designers and promotion by kvrc and government around the province of the new volunteer ns once the website is finalized.
