Kings United Pastoral Charge

Hold weekly worship services each Sunday during the year and special services at such times as Easter and Christmas. Conduct weddings and funerals as requested and needed. Minister and Pastoral Care team provide visitation and in the case of Manors church services monthly when possible to those in need. Host Baptisms and Confirmation services as required/requested. Collect donations from the church community to provide for the operation of the Pastoral Charge and mission funding for helping other communities in need through the United Church of Canada. Our church has only two paid positions: Minister at 100% and secretary at 10 hours per week. All other activities including treasurer are voluntary. Hours spent by volunteers include: treasurer - 5 to 10 hours per week cleaners and decorators 5 hours per week and all other activities including fundraising totaling hundreds of hours per year are done by volunteers.
