Kilby Heritage Society

The Kilby Heritage Society manages and provides programming for the Kilby Historic Site and Campground. The property encompasses a 1906 general store museum a five-acre farm a gift shop and a café as well as a 41 site campground 2 glamping tents and a boat launch. At the historic site we deliver comprehensive daily interpretive program for the public year-round educational programs for kindergarten through to the twelfth grade and senior programming. From April through December as part of our operations we also deliver up to 20 special events and specialized programs. In 2024 our volunteer program comprised of 80 volunteers from 6 to 84 years old donating over 2 600 hours through diverse activities such as interpretation archival work gardening and fundraising. We are actively developing new programming for 2025 including musical performances and in-class and virtual school programs.
