Kids Connection Haiti

KCH continued to relieve poverty by providing funds for basic amenities including food clothing and shelter to the poor in Haiti to advance education by providing scholarships grants and other financial assistance to students in Haiti and to provide assistance to needy persons with the tasks of drafting a resume searching for employment starting a micro-business and/or preparing for job interviews. KCH also continued to provide limited support for necessary healthcare requirements to ensure that education and employment goals would be achieved. While fundraising takes place in Canada by an all-volunteer team all charitable activities continue to take place in the greater Port-Au-Prince metropolitan area of Haiti. No new programs were begun during the period.
