1. Advancement of religion by establishing and maintaining a house of worship with services conducted in accordance with the tenets of the Sikh faith. 2. Teaching the religious tenets doctrines and observances of the Sikh faith. 3. To help relieve poverty by operating a soup kitchen for the homeless and other low-income individuals. 4. Setting up publicly available scholarships and bursaries to be used for post-secondary education for students in financial hardship. 5. Advancement of religion by establishing a religious school of instruction on the Sikh faith and Punjabi language.
