Kelowna Visual and Performing Arts Centre Society

The kelowna visual and performing arts centre society (kpacs) operates the rotary centre for the arts (rca). Located in the heart of kelowna cultural district in downtown the rca is a community oriented multidisciplinary visual performing arts centre that showcases and promotes all forms of artistic expression. Residents of and visitors to the cental okanagan can experience artists and performers in action visit our artist studios attend show rent spaces take classes or view the galleries. The 44 000 square foot world-class facility is owned by the city of kelowna and our non-profit society has operated the centre for over 21 years since its opening in november 2002. As a major attraction for both the local community and tourists the centre receives over 230 000 visits annually. Our ongoing programs include season's performance presentation and community and youth arts education programs as we have over 50 individuals who volunteered at the front of house for our shows of for community and youth programs. We also house 11 artists in residence in our studios from potters to painters to music instructors.
