The society continues to develop a heritage village by restoring or reconstructing twenty on (21) buildings ( some dating from the 19th century) on an right (8) acre site. These buildings are used as a museum to house a growing collection of artifacts. The society hosts many public events such as art shows; craft displays; quilt shows; reunion; weddings; open houses; festival of trees; settlers' day; craft beer festival. The society provides a community an cultural centre that coordinates numerous art and craft courses.
