Kanata United Church

Provided pastoral services to the community for worshiping God through regular church services church school bible study and counseling. Made church facilities available to the community provided financial support to local organizations and individuals and higher levels of the United Church of Canada for ongoing programs. These included arts spirituality family issues and seniors gatherings. Support for Centre 33 an onsite organization dedicated to the needs of 2SLGBTQIA+ youth. Centre33 is a new accessible affirming and inclusive safe space that fosters healthy understandings of self embracing the diversity of an individual’s sexual orientation gender expression and gender identity while nurturing the development of friendships and support networks. Initiated a new monthly concert series for emerging musicians.
