Kamloops Family History Society

(1) we educate & assist our members to research & document their family histories using speakers webinars & special interest groups includes improving their computer skills. (2) we respond to research requests from canada & worldwide using email mail & our website. (3) we assist out-of-town researchers viewing graves & ancestral homes. (4) we volunteer up to 350 hours at lds family search centre to assist church members & the public in all aspects of their family research. (5) we publish 'family footsteps' journal annually & exchange journals with family history societies in canada & around the world. (6) we hold family history lectures & workshops as requested by educators & community groups. (7) our members attend conferences & webinars at own expense to upgrade skills & knowledge sharing with our members & the public.
